I've been a huge fan of this series since the first Half-Life and all follow-up titles. This game is no exception.

I've been a huge fan of this series since the first Half-Life and all played through all of the follow-up titles including Opposing Force, Blue Shift and Half-Life 2. This game is no exception. The graphics, sound, game play and mechanics are all stunning and amazing. The story line continues where the previous title left off and only adds to deepen the plot. The game controls are exactly the same as the previous which makes it very easy to just pick up and start playing with no tutorial or primer. The characters are vibrant, very well done and really add to the games already good ambiance. The level design although linear plays extraordinarily well. The sound fits perfectly adding to the overarching gloom and despair of the game all the while combined with hope and excitement. The only negative I have regarding this title is the amount of time it took for me to complete it. I finished it the same day that I purchased it. Another winning title from Valve. Can't wait the play the next installment whenever that becomes available.
