Not as bad as it looks. But still could have been much better.

User Rating: 7 | Gungrave OD PS2

- Graphics aren't bad either
- Some great shooting and cutscenes
- Good voice acting
- Pretty cool story

Negative
- Truly AWFUL camera
- Lock-on target isn't there when you need it
- Difficulty can become very frustrating

Gungrave: Overdose is so bad after all. They say that the first Gungrave is really bad but this is much better. But there are better shooters of the platform than this, for sure.

Gungrave: Overdose tells a weird and at the same time cool story. Gunplay is exciting and you'll kill over 100 enemies in one level. Cutscenes are good too and keeps you engaged.

Cameras in the game are terrible and always gets in the way and really disturbes you, especially when fighting bosses or a lot of enemies in one single room. And the lock-on target is somehow miss and not to talk about the sound effects. Sometimes they are really poor. The difficulty level is sometimes easy and immediately goes up hard

Speaking about the story now, the main character is a dead man who calls himself, well not calls, because he dosen't really talk. People call him Beyond the grave. On his back he has a coffin. Mika, another character talks to Beyond the Grave and told him that they must kill a person called Seed. Through the story you'll fight , kill and shoot thousands of enemies. Gungrave: Overdose isn't easy to recommand, especially to people which are short-tempered because of its cameras mainly and of course the difficulty level. But after all the 2nd Gungrave is an enjoyable shooter if you forgive the problems often seen in average score games.
