Fantastic Gameplay
Gundam Battle Royale puts you in the role of a rookie pilot at the start of the "One year war" piloting a standard GM (if you choose Earth Federation Forces) or a Zaku (if you choose Zeon). As you work your way up, your piloting skills increase as well as have tune points for your mobile suit. Going through the mission also unlocks suits from your side like for example the E.F.F. RX-78-2, Guntank, Guncannon, up till you get the Zeta Gundam. Heck even the gigantic Psycho Gundam is available!.
The Good:
Excellent gameplay, control and interface. Once you figured out the controls and interface, that should be able to get you going (i.e. red targets are enemies, cyan are allies and you can only lock on enemies).
The Bad:
The voice and parts of the game are in japanese. This includes the C.I.C. officer who gives you mission objectives. Thankfully this problem is not a big hassle since the interface clearly identifies which side they are.
Newbies will have some difficulty to figure out how to tune their suits since its in japanese.
