The best Gundam Game I've ever played.

User Rating: 9.5 | Gundam: Battle Assault 2 PS
Game play:
The game play in this game is absolutely wonderful. It isn't too difficult to learn the controls and how to fight, and the varying difficulties are good for the new gamer to the experienced veteran gamer. Once you've learned the basics, this game is extremely fun, as you get to fight many of the Gundams and other mobile suits from the series like the Wing Gundam Zero Custom, Burning Gundam, Zaku IIS, and Nu Gundam.

Story: The street mode loosely follows the stories of the original Gundam series, G Gundam series, and Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz OVA. You get to choose from two mobile suits for the original Gundam and three each for G Gundam and Endless Waltz.

Graphics:
This may be a 2D fighting game, but the graphics look superb. The animations for the mobile suits are very realistic and fluid. The attack animations look just as good too, with beam sabers and beam rifles looking and working exactly as they should.

Sound:
The sound in this game is pretty good. I think it could be a little better, with the voice acting, it doesn't sound quite right with some of the characters, though some actually manage to get it right.

Extras/Content:
You can unlock more mobile suits by accomplishing certain things in the game like beating Street mode with all eight mobile suits on the Hard difficulty.

Price:
You can find this game for about $10 U.S. on ebay or even your local used game store, so it's definitely worth the investment to buy local used game store

Value:
As for the value this game has, I'd say it has great value. I'm still playing it to this very day and enjoying it immensely. Once you unlock all of the mobile suits, you can have fun with your friends playing them all in turn.

Overall, this is a great game, probably the best of the Gundams, and a must own for anyone who considers themselves a hardcore Gundam fan, or just a fan of arcade styled fighting games.
