This is the best Gundam game I have ever played
Game Design: I really like the artworks of the mobile suits in the game and their movements as well, almost like in the series. The environments aren’t really that special, just some affects on the background and nothing else.
Game Play: You have a large selection of mobile suits from the series Gundam, G Gundam, ZZ Gundam and Gundam Wing. (and maybe other series if I’m wrong). Each mobile suit will have their own special attacks, you will also be able to fly, shoot guns and lasers and draw out beam swords. There will basically be a lot of button mashing.
Sound: The sound effect is great, all the laser fires and even the foot steps of those giant mobile suits will make you feel like you are in the fight rather than playing. Only some characters have voice acting and they don’t really have much dialogue otherwise the sound effect and music in the game is well orchestrated. The game is quite simple, there are not many modes to select from. There is street mode (Story mode on the last game), VS mode, training mode, survival mode and time attack mode. The great thing about this game is the large selection of mobile suits. You will probably be playing for a couple of hours and taking brakes, because these fights can be really tough. Too bad they didn’t add anything more to the game, you would be spending around 40 hours unlocking over 40 mobile suits and then that’s that.
But if you like giant robo-techs fighting battles and if you are a Gundam fan you shouldn’t miss out this game. If you are not a fan then you would be better off renting this game.
