A cheap clone of Worms that is more addictive than fun.
Back then, softnyx made this game called Gunbound. It was fun at the time and was hosted by softnyx. The community was pretty good, and it was actually a lot of fun to play with your friends online.
Then IJJI comes into the spotlight.
Ijji COMPLETELY turned the game into a pile of $#!@. Gunbound is a game that focuses on you buying avatars for your character more than ever. It's all about money now. Not only did they do this but they also screwed up on a lot of other stuff too. The Special shot is inactive for the first few rounds instead of being immediate; the raon's babies attack immediately; the ability of pushing people off a cliff with JD's SS is gone; kalsiddon is way overpowered in "avatar on" servers; etc, etc, etc.
Actually, the game would STILL be half-decent if it weren't for the all new community. Wow, I've never seen an online game so full of inexperienced players in my life. There's practically no one worthy of dueling anymore. From lowest rank (chick) to highest (dragon), they all basically stink. Group matches aren't fun anymore because there's always a "knob" on your team. I'm a nice guy though, so I don't insult anyone, not like 90% of the people there. Because it's not their fault, people who play this are new and once they realize how bad it is, they stop playing, and the cycle continues. That's why the game is even running today. Suffice it to say, not even hackers are on the game anymore (if low lives like hackers don't play it, then who will?).
So, there you have it. I'm sorry if it was too negative, but hey, that's how I feel. A game that was once decent is turned into a terrible waste of time.
