If you love terrain-derstruction and mayhem such as TEAM 17's "Worms Amagedon", you will love this world wide game!

Move over "Worms" by TEAM 17, terrain-annihilation war has a new name and that name is Gunbound!

Gunbound by softnyx began in 2004 as the cartoon style game which players verse each other with war-machines such as the Aduka, Bigfoot or Mage to name a few and to the day is still about blowing the S#!T through your opponent(s) and obliterating the ground that they stand on. The battle style is turn based and the delay between turns depends on the nature of his/her previous turn whether they used primary, secondary or SS weapons and also is effected by the powerups used.

Because there is no storyline to Gunbound, it would strike someone unfamiliar to the game as something strange for a person to be playing Gunbound for months without getting tired. But there are certain aspect to Gunbound that keep it alive

One of the main reasons people continue to play Gunbound and probably why it is so addictive is because of the desire to to acquire one of the thousands of Avatar items such as a "Gold Crown", "The Great General" suit or a country's flag. And, if you want avatar items you must gain Gold from either battles or - if your willing to pay - real money.

Another element of Gunbound is its community. At any one time, there are people from over 100 nations playing the game. There have been people from the US, Japan and some from Australia and others from more interesting locations such as Dubai or Egypt.

In terms of Visual/Audio, the graphics of Gunbound are quite simple and for the game style, simple suits it. The music is kinda "quirky", but not in a bad way, but the sound effects are great.

In all Gunbound is a great game, and considering that its free, i recommend that you give it a try.
