There are several modes to choose from. Career mode is the bread and butter of the game. You select an instrument, a player, and prepare to rock. You can play guitar or drums. The gameplay is simple. Just tap the colored notes as they appear in the guidelines. Hard songs provide the real fun though. You have to tap crazy and hold long combos to succeed. For only 500 points, the song list (15 songs) is worth what you pay. The ability to put your own photos onstage is neat. You can take on different gigs in 3 different world places.
The cut scene text is short, if rather unnecessary. Still, slight problems like this can't mess a truly rockin game. Oh, and start on easy unless you are really a master at Guitar Hero. Even some easy songs can be tricky.
