- The Bottom Line:
- "Worth playing"
The Good:decent gameplay . well done covers.Decent setlist.great graphics.
The Bad: Doesnt have the same effect that it did in 2005.30 songs.some wierd moments with up tempo in a song.
Everyone knows the music genre now. You get full bands now and you and your family whine how like your voice sucks or you didnt get the beats right on the drums or butcherd that solo on your plastic guitar.Every song was a master recording, and now has a big fat150 price point for full band.
But the game that basicly started it all, harmonix(yes rock bands creator)guitar hero. some fun was lost from the last 4 years ago when it came out. infact alot was lost.
Your limited to 30 songs, 2 player is only limited to battle mode, all the songs are covers(done well),and you only use the guitar.
The graphics still hold up though and some fun can still be had with it, though i did notice something. The drummer does the same animation through any song, and doesnt look like hes hitting any real beats at all, and if a song tempo increases, everyone speeds up,the crowd, the guitarist, the bassist, the vocalist, the drummer, and the guy on the keyboard.
its an old game but overall,Youll have some decent fun in this fun yet dated guitar hero game
