Guitar Hero World Tour Question

Question about the guitar controller?

So far, are there any known common faults with the Guitar controller?
Accepted Answer
Some get a squeaky strum and whammy bars, some get fret button problems, some have trouble with the new touch strip. Mainly for the touch strip, it either doesn't pick up certain sections or, for me as far as I know, it's TOO sensitive (ie: picks up movement from 1/4 of an inch away).

    No, only the drums thus far, and a solution is underway for those.

    There are some strum bar and whammy bar problems.

    Also, some people have had troubles with the fret buttons. Only some, though.

    People are having issues with the touch pad not functioning properly as well.

    The only issues I've seen or had in my time playing were issues with the strum bar on one of the controllers we used. The bar wouldn't correctly register all the down strum notes for some reason.

    in the previous guitar hero, a problem related to that occured. The neck of the les paul guitars would pull out just enough so the fret buttons may not recognize so it indirectly caused strums to not register. Dunno if this IV guitar has a removable neck but if it does, try making sure its pushed in good.

    My guitar had the same issue with the down strums. Unless you were slamming it down, it would only register half the time. This also occured in the menus and on my dashboard, so I doubt it has anything to do with the neck.
