Guitar Hero games have come year by year and yet each entry is as fun as the last.

Since, the first Guitar Hero, people have never looked at music the same. As we proceed into the future of our games, the Guitar Hero franchise has proceeded to change and innovate the genre. This year, we got just that. Though it may not be the best in the franchises, it's one of the good ones. Neversoft said that it would go back to their roots. Well, they sorta did. We see the familiar faces such as Axel Steel and Pandora. We get to see the gang with a few new ones go on a quest to save rock. While this sounds interesting, it all fails as it really isn't as epic as it should've been. The worst part of the quest is to hear Gene SImmons narrate it. He just sounds so annoying through the game. But there are some good points in the quest. As you choose each person to join your quest for rock, each character turns into a warrior of rock. Each has its own power. For example, Johnny Napalm turns into a strange creature and he makes getting stars easier. This actually works and it's fun to see how each transforms into a warrior and what powers they get. So overall, the quest is ok, but not interesting as it should've been. The setlist of the game is quite frankly everywhere. The music of the game includes almost every genre that deals with a guitar and an amp. They have a good amount of good songs. But that's just me. It also just go into madness. Either you're gonna be a fan of the music or just some. But let's look at the positive things. The graphics are actually looking pretty good. Each venue looks as varied and diverse as the next. They're the same venues you would expect in a Guitar Hero game. Also, they kept the good Party Play Mode. For people who don't know what it is, it's when people can join with whatever instrument or dropout without failing. It's my favorite part in the game because it can get to more people. Also, the new Quickplay+ is pretty handy. When you play any song in this mode, people will be able to achieve a challenge. Oddly enough, it's not in the Quest mode. There is also one thing that will aggravate people like me. You have the ability to import songs from Guitar Hero: World Tour, Smash Hits, Metallica, 5 and also all the DLCs. But sadly, you don't get all the songs like Rock Band. It's a bit of a rip-off. All of these games had great songs and for some reason cannot keep playing them. Overall, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is a solid Guitar Hero game. If you can like most of the songs on it, then you like it. But the set-list is crazy but some of the songs are great.
