im pretty excited for this game
If Killer Queen isn't in this game, there will be asses to kick...
I think this game is a good idea. I mean, it's not just re-releasing all of the Guitar Heroes on one disc. They've added the band concept to it. Frankly, I am uber-excited about this. There were a lot of songs on Guitar Heroes 1, 2, and 3 that I've really wanted to sing to. Like for instance, on the 360 version of GH2, they had 'Dead!' by My Chemical Romance. I really hope they put that song in, because MCR is, in my opinion, one of the best punk/emo bands of today. And they need a lot more representation in rhythem games. That's just one song, but I'm sure there are a lot more song that would be awesome with vocals and drums added in. Like 'Stricken' by Disturbed, 'No One Knows' by Queens of the Stone Age, 'Thunderkiss '65' by White Zombie, 'Holy Diver' by Dio and, who could ever forget, 'Through the Fire and Flames' by DragonForce (yet another song I would love to sing to). So, let's just give this game a chance. They may even find a way to integrate it with Guitar Hero: World Tour. Now I think thay would expand the game exponentially.
Freebird!
sweet, i've wanted to play threw the fire and the flames on drums for so long!!
It will be cool to re-live my favorite songs and play on drums and sing.
Look, there are some people that arn't as talented in music as they are in other things. Guitar Hero and Rock Band let them "play" the songs in the closest way to the real thing they can. So stop downing on people who play Guitar Hero and Rock Band And for Rock Band, yes, they had the mic and drums first. Let's face it though, the only reason that Harmonix branched to its own game was because they made Guitar Hero too easy. Yes they do drums and mic better so it is a better party game. But Guitar Hero actually takes a bit more. . . I don't want to say skill, it dosn't seem right, but we'll go with that, skill. So it just depends on whether you want a family game or a game that shows how well you know your favorite rock songs. I prefer Guitar Hero, that's because the guitars are better quality and the game's more challenging, but Rock Band still has my respect. Harmonix just needs to make the game a little difficult
but Rock Band kicks Guitar Hero's butt now!
so this is all of the old songs on 1 disc? ehh maby this could work.
does this game even have to exist?
Personally i don't have a problem with this game. If you don't want it, don't buy it. Simple as. I'm looking forward to being able to play the songs from 1, 2, 3 & 80's with the full band since some of the best songs were on there and i can't play them anymore with no backwards compatibility on PS3.
so if i remember right, a greatest hits album means your in "quick were going broke and need some quick money" mode right?
If you are into the drumming and vocals then why not? I do understand the reluctance to buy songs you already have though. RockBand and GH series have many overlapping songs. Since GH World Tour was the same price as previous GH games why not release the drum and vocal additions as free downloads to those who already own those games? Other wise its like releasing World Tour with guitar for $60 then charging another $60 bucks to get the drum and vocal parts. Doesn't sound so great when you look at it that way.
forgive me for not reading first, but this is going to be a download, right?
Activision needs to stop thinking games need to be exploited every year to be worth publishing. I wish they wood do more than just putting all the best songs together on world tour
wow that is just sad
do over ay....
so they are just using the songs they have already done and putting it on a disc with a new title on it and calling it new? what a load of crap
cant wait
I kind of doubt they are going to pick MY greatest hits from GH 1,2, and 80's...... :(
Guitar Hero is just SO lame now
Ugh another guitar hero that i just have to spend my hard earned money on!
i hope they will put Slayer cause i loved playing Raining blood on GH3
Cool
Can't wait
second!
first!
