Probably the worst Guitar Hero game... ranking down there with Rock the 80s.

Guitar Hero was a very innovative game back in 2005. It's obvious that it's one of the most popular games nowadays. So when Activision said that Guitar Hero for the DS was being released, the hype was pretty high. The game is a bit enjoyable, but the issues of this game undermine the the fun parts of the game.

The gameplay is your average "Press the Button, and strum". It's enjoyable, and classic. Too bad the gameplay is shot down by the pain caused by playing for extended periods of time. Yes. Playing the game causes pain.

The graphics are nothing special, being your average random rock-out. Your character starts playing before the song starts at times. That's really the only main graphical issue.

Many people rip on the soundtrack. Well, I have to say that the soundtrack does have unnecessary songs, but for the most part, it's alright. The main thing that destroys the sound is the quality. The quality of the sound is pretty bad. Even with headphones on, the music sounds slightly pixelated.

The replay value is probably the lowest yet, below even Rock the 80s. The puny 26 song list is by far the lowest. You should be able to complete Career Mode in less than a day.

In conclusion, the game is simply too painful and short to fully enjoy.
