Guitar Hero: Metallica BTS - The Game (Xbox 360)

I love Metallica, and aerosmith but i just felt traped playing the aerosmith game and I think it was the lack of diversity, so just because I am a Metallica fan I will buy this game and play it through but I will definetly be playing more of world tour.

These guys RULE ! Now even gamers will get to know what Metallica are !

after the black album is when they should have stopped. They are not, ACDC, Iron Maiden etc..... they had their time! I was a huge fan back then, but after Napster....that made them look like idiots and their music was going down hill fast! MetallicA you kick ass!!! (pre Load album) now... sorry DEATH TO ALL BUT METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are they sell outs? I'm glad they're bringing out Guitar Hero Metallica - I love them and their music. Why won't you want to game to their songs?

The music that metallica creates is so incredibly complex, but yet beautiful. It is awesome to be able to interact in this way with their music. I don't think this format wll end soon because the music companies are realizing that this is a way that they can sell the artist's songs. metallica was smart to get on board with this after all of their issues with P2P file sharing and Napster. Plus, I hope the younger kids who may have not discovered Metallica will take notice and discover some real, original music that's good.

any average american nerd would go nuts over this. all american nerds love heavy stuff, and they play games. this is a genius way to make quick bucks, personally i dont think countries like AUS and Europe will sell that many becuase were so different to the american market, world tour is most successful because it branches out onto a whole different spectrum of genre. but because this game is very one minded i cant see it getting far. not that im bagging it or destroyin the hard work put in by those blokes

I bought the complete set only to play with the drums. I still haven't even tried the guitar. The drums on the other hand is so much fun I'm playing on them every day.

I play real guitar and play the game lol The game is fun becuase you can play songs you normally couldn't play on your own unless you were really good at guitar.

They need a GH: Iron Maiden. Now they have awesome songs with awesome guitar riffs.

I don't get why so many people are hating on this game. I can't wait to get it, I'm one of the biggest Metallica fans, I've loved every album they have released. So this game will be one of my favorites.

To StuntMan96 & Kablouwskan: SlipKnot and Disturbed? Those two haven't made anywhere near as big an impact as Aerosmith and Metallica for their own game. Anyway, it's nice to see that Hetfield knows what it's all about. The enjoyment of being a rock star. Activision could learn a thing or two from him.

The idea if u want to play a real instrument or not doesnt come whit the fact of the game , the game is just that a game, playing for real is another if people like playing these games let them, i play them and not because i play on expert im going out side and pick up a real guitar n poof im a rock star .... lol.

for the people saying learn real guitar: it's the same thing telling people to learn to shoot real guns if all they play are shooter games. they don't have to learn a real instrument because they enjoy a game.

They should make a GH: Slipknot. It would be fun to play Nothing Else Matters on guitar hero.

Metallica hasn't been metal since the 80's, in fact they've publicly talked s**t about the genre. James Hetfield is an a-hole, Hamett's a wuss, and Lars is both an a-hole and a wuss. The only cool members of Metallica have been their bass players, and Dave Mustaine who they booted out of the band for doing too many drugs.

I play guitar, and I used to hate the fact that these games existed, but my wife decided she wanted Rock Band to learn the drums. So she got it and wanted me to play with her. We enjoy doing anything together, so I picked up the guitar and played a little while with her, and now I get it. It is fun, and I actually pick up my real guitar a little more now. (which I had been letting sit there and collect dust for the most part) I'm glad I started playing these games with her. I still wouldn't play them alone though ;)

I think it's awesome that Metallica has a Guitar Hero game and I think it's even better that it's the band format and not just guitar. Too bad I got Rock Band at release and didn't wait for Guitar Hero's answer to it... I guess I'll just have extra plastic instruments in my house now.

It seems Opera got some problems with Game Spot vids..not only this all vids look same red..But its ok in IE. Great vid soooooo sweet another great victory for //MetallicA\\ yeah!!!

2nd PS: I play real guitar with my Epiphone LesPaul and curious fact, some songs are easier on the real guitar than on GH or Rock Band... like Bon Jovi's «Wanted Dead or Alive»... Thanks to Metallica, their songs aren't so tough on guitar, but still a challenge and, for sure, too cool songs.

The demo is awesome!!! Metallica were ready for their own GH a long time ago. I'll buy this game for sure. Long live to James, Kirk, Lars and Robert!!! PS: Would you add «The Unforgiven 2» in the setlist?

@maniackilla1136 I don't think the world of non musicians is ready for Zappa guitar hero. Peoples fingers may break and their brains may melt. I'd love it though!!! 8)
