This game is very awesome in several ways.
This game is very awesome in several ways. First, the soundtrack is awesome to play and listen to. You have a song from Metallica which is a nice touch for all of those Metallica fans. There are also some classic songs like Black Magic Woman, Rock You Like a Hurricane, Number of the Beast, and many more. There are so many different artists that pretty much everyone can pick up and play. Also, you have the ability to buy songs from the career shop store, and download songs on to your game. I'm not quite sure how to download songs on Guitar Hero III yet.
Second, there's online mode for the PS3 version of Legends of Rock. I personally never tried that mode yet, but that alone makes this game shine even more. Note: The PS2 version of Legends of Rock does not have online play, but the X box 360 and Wii has online mode. If you decide to buy this game, please do not buy the PS2 version because you also can't download songs on there. Instead, buy the PS3, X box 360, or Wii version of Legends of Rock.
Third, you can also play co-op on career mode. You can also play multiplayer mode in free play mode. There's also a shop center where you can unlock more guitars and characters like Lou (the red Devil).
The good - strong competitive multiplayer modes (co-op career mode, multiplayer free play modes, and online play), excellent soundtrack, graphics look great, can download songs to your game, challenging enough for everyone at different levels

Presentation - 10 There may not be a ton of modes out there, but each mode has a strong competitive multiplayer. There's also a story mode in the career section, but you can just skip the story part.
Graphics - 10 Everything looks polished, clean, and bright but not too bright. To sum it all up, everything looks up to par with the PS3 graphics.
Sound - 10 There's a large song list, and most of the songs will appeal to all Guitar Hero fans. The soundtrack is also amazing, and there's a variety or different artists.
Gameplay - 10 You can play from easy all the way to expert mode. There's some challenge for everyone.
Lasting Approval - 10 The ability to play online and download songs is a nice touch for the fans out there. The strong multiplayer modes will keep you busy for a good long while.
