And I thought Guitar Hero II was good.....

1 word describes this game: WOW.
It's amazing, it's better than before, Neversoft improves the series, etc., etc....
First of all read my review og Guitar Hero II ( http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/puzzle/guitarhero2/player_review.html?id=499588 )
Now take that, remove the songs, add tons of better songs, make the graphics better, make it look like the band is actually playing and singing the song, add amazingly fun boss battles, put really fun venues, change up some of the characters, and give it a little bit of a story and what do you get? Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
The only reason I didn't give it a perfect 10 is because there could always be more/better songs , online play, and because of the lame exclusion of the God of Rock and the Grim Ripper (both PS3/360 exclusives) and the inclusion of Budvis and Metalhead (the stupid PS2/Wii exclusive characters).
BTW, don't worry about it being Neversoft developing it because they actually did it better than Harmonix did on GH1, GH2, and GH80s. Also, don't worry about the PS2 version not being as good as the other versions because the only difference is online play, the 2 exclusive characters, the downloadable songs (definitely don't woory about those because those are just ones that PS2ers already got with GHone or ones that aren't good enough to put in the real game), and there might be a tiny difference in graphics.
