Despite still featuring fun guitar playing action, Legends of Rock was not what I had expected.

I've enjoyed many Guitar Hero games, but this seems to be the weakest. Sure it's got the fun addicting guitar play we've seen in previous installments, but this third edition goes a little too far. This is simply because some of the songs are more metal than before. While metal fans may like this, I don'tlike this one bit, with the exception of Metallica, Iron Maiden, and several others. Some of my favorite bands such as The Killers, Pearl Jam, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Weezer, and ZZ Top are on here, ass well as Cliffs Of Dover by Eric Johnson. However, most of these songs are lengthen to avoid fading out, making for a bad sign for fans used to the older versions.

Since I already reviewed the PS2 version of Guitar Hero III, there's not much detail for me to go in. I'll say the Wii version is a disappointment, but the challenging difficulty and rocking songs make it still fun. There's a bigger window for you, making it easier to hit notes. Hell, most of the songs are master tracks, a good thing for rock fans of older ages.

The graphics are farther than mediocre. The blocky characters and pixilated visuals wouldn't even fit a PS2 console! The music is good, but it could've been better. Among the Guitar hero games, including the 360 version of Guitar Hero 5, this is the worst in the series. Despite featuring fun guitar playing action, Legends of Rock was not what I had expected. That said, music fans looking for a good time may find this title worthwhile.
