If you don't know anything about the growing Guitar Hero franchise, here it is in brief. Guitar Hero is pretty much a game where you pick up a plastic guitar, hit some button and strum to notes that appear on the screen on the guitar. Guitar Hero III amps this rhythm game up the difficulty. III consist of several modes including career, quickplay, practice, and nintendo wfi (this is a review for wii). Career takes you through different venues that you have to play a setlist of songs on in order to continue to the next venue. Throughout the career, you have several boss battle with guitar legends like Slash. This is a great feature in the franchise, but gets boring after a while. Every time you complete a song you earn cash that you can by extra like guitars, characters, songs, etc.

Now to the review. This was my first Guitar Hero game, so it took me several months to bet it. So my recommendation to everyone who wants a guitar hero game to start with is DON'T PICK UP THIS GAME. I would of picked up something like Guitar Hero World Tour, since it has a beginner difficulty.
The career is well made, but short. I think a better addition would be to have more boss battles. Multiplayer is disappointing, since it has no quickplay, so you are going to have to bet career. The WFI is alright, but not a keeper.

So in end, Guitar Hero III is a great game for veterans but not for beginners. (this is my first review, so now bad comments)
