The surprise hit of 2005 is back with Guitar hero 2 and it delivers. There's over 55 brand new songs to rock out on!

The gameplay is the same as the original. But with improved hammer ons and pull offs there fells there's some new things. Also, Star Power is back. But, there's a way harder expert mode than the original Guitar Hero. Which the hardcore players will be happy that it's more challenging. There's a huge Tracklist. Some bands include Van Halen, Kiss, Motley Crue, Cheap Trick, Jane's Addiction, and even some Strong Bad from Homestar runner.com. Even though the tracklist isn't as epic as the original Guitar Hero it still is awesome. There's also a couple new characters to choose from! But all the old ones all back like Axel. There's also alot of new guitar's but don't worry the old ones are also back.

Also For the beginner's or even the hardcore Guitar hero fans there's practice mode. This is where you can slow down the song and practice it. Pick any section of the song you're having trouble with and start practicing. The Speeds are Slowest, Slower, Slow, and Full Speed. So, you have friends and he has Guitar hero. You should be happy to hear there's a very improved multiplayer mode in this game. There's the Face of, Co-op and Pro face of modes. You can be rocking out on the lead guitar and give the bass to your friend! In this you both have to activate the star power so it makes the Multiplayer more challenging.

The graphics are basically the same as the original Guitar hero. It's just a tad bit better. There's alot of colors that makes the graphics look nice time to time but the PS2 can [reform better. Even though you never are paying attention to that because you're looking at the notes coming down the screen.

The sound is very good in Guitar Hero 2. As you guessed it's a big part of the Guitar hero series. Some songs have very good sound but in some other cases it isn't that good. They did have some of the actual bands play their song which makes the sound even better. But, in the other songs they do it all by themselves in the studio so some songs are good and some bands stink.

The value is a huge factor of the Guitar hero series. Guitar Hero 2 is very addicting and keeps you coming back for more. You're seriously going to play this game fore months mostly because all of it's huge tracklist and huge list of unlockables. As, i said before there's tons of bonus tracks to buy, there's new characters, tons of new guitar's, To keep you coming back to unlock. So the value is very high.
