The sequel to GH II shows gamers a very similar experience with an updated track list that takes you back to the 80s.

Although the game feels exactly the same as GH II, it provides a small but noticable difference from its previous title (a completely new song list). One of the major drawbacks to this game is that there are no real improvements to the style and feel of the game and that the content feels majorly scaled back, as far as extras to pick up and the number of songs on the track list. There are no independent tracks to purchase to increase that list as well.

Of the songs included in this game, some of the classics include: "I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls, "Heat of the Moment" by Asia, "Hold on Loosely" by .38 Special, "The Warrior" by Scandal, "18 and Life" by Skid Row, "What I Like About You" by The Romantics, "Ballroom Blitz" by Krokus, "Caught in a Mosh" by Anthrax, "Nothin' but a Good Time" by Poison, and "Play with Me" by Extreme.

I definitely enjoy the blast back to the 80s, but the pricetag was a little high for a game that has half the content of the previous release. Both games are currently the same price, but I can guess that this one will go down by the time GH III is released.
