Guitar Hero: Aerosmith User Review
Aerosmith's first ever band videogame. Sadly, the most popular songs are not in it.

- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Old-school"
Graphics:
= With its graphics not improved and yet similar to Guitar Hero 3. The motion capture was perfectly made, but the facial expressions of the characters like Joe Perry and Steven Tyler doesn't even show. Only a close-and-open eyes expression of Steven Tyler was good… or let say "was bad". Even though they add another guitarist in the stage to make it 5-person band, it doesn't even change a thing. 'Nuff said.
Sounds:
= The songs are good. Especially for the crowd to sing some of the lyric which the band sang. And yes, you can guarantee that Steven Tyler and Joe Perry's voices are there. And ummm... That's it. The effects are still similar to GH3. 'Nuff said.
Gameplay:
= Still the same: hitting notes, guitar battle mode, and unlocking items. But the story of game is about Aerosmith, on how they really met and made their first concert of their first songs, and the only problem is that the song isn't sorted by the year it was sang and where it was presented. There's only a few popular songs that was putted game like "Pink", "No Surprize", "King and Queens", and "Sweet Emotions", they didn't even include the POPULAR songs that they made like "I Don't Want To A Thing" and "Crazy". That's bad. It's pretty bad for the fans of Aerosmith to not have their popular songs in the game, because that's what fans want to play and to feel the song by playing it.
Replay:
= Playing it and again and again so that you'll be an expert, IF you're new to the game, but if not, you're going to get bored soon enough. But for the awesomeness of the other songs in the game, you'll never get tired of it. But still, as I said, you'll get bored soon.
Overall:
= It was a wise choice for Neversoft and Activision in making a game exclusive from a band like Aerosmith, but their not wise enough to produce the game. Because, they were lacking the popular and best songs made by Aersomith, especially lacking the improvement of the game.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith may not be the most difficult Guitar Hero game ever, but it has some of the best features yet.
