I was robbed of $50...

Seriously, $50 for this game? I bought the game open-minded and optimistic that there would be something worth playing. Not really an Aerosmith fan, but was looking forward to playing with Run DMC. Basically, once you play King of Rock and Walk This Way a few times, the game is forgettable. I played through it on Medium just so I could quickly unlock all the songs. The uninspired track list had me clamouring quickly for a previous installment. I mean, only 6 tiers of music and one "Boss" battle? Even more disappointing was there are only 10 songs to "buy" from the shop, and most are Joe Perry solo songs. 41 songs- you can breeze through the majority in an afternoon, and then you're back to GH3. What is even more ridiculous is the last tier of songs aren't even the most difficult in the game- tier 5 is much harder. The one positive aspect of the game is the feeling of immersion in the concert experience. Being able to hear the crowd sing along with the group was a neat touch, but when you play any Aerosmith song, the graphic on the fret board quickly makes you forget any thought of enjoyment you might have had. The skull with the red eye-balls is very distracting, and many times confuses for a red note. In star mode the eyes and notes are virtually indistinguishable. I purchased the game on the release date, played it about 3 days, and haven't touched it since. If you must buy it, I would not recommend paying full price for it.
