A good game for Guitar Hero or Aerosmith junkies

A game centered around a guy with a huge mouth... I know what you might be thinking... WTF!!???! Don't fret, because when it was anounced I said that too. I bought this game hoping that it would keep me sane until GHWT came out. And it did! I love the game, despite the fact that Aerosmith is nowhere near number 1 on my list. Only 40-something songs is somewhat of a disappointment, however, those 40-something are great!

Starting the game off you watch a short video giving you a bit of background info about the band. Then you start rockin'! the first venue is Nipmuc High School, where Aeroamith's first gig was held. In the game you travel through various different areas, like all othe Guitar Hero games. Those Venues include Max's Kansas City, where the band got signed, a super bowl half-time show, and the rock and roll hall of fame. The ending is very Guitar Hero-esque to say the least.

A very key detail, and possibly my favorite, is crowd involvement in-game. The fans will sing along to most songs and that alone gives the game a more concert-like experience. Also, the characters look so lifelike and exact to their real counterparts, it's almost scary. Also Joe perry uses a talk-box on "Sweet Emotion" and a steel guitar on "Rag Doll"... Very cool. Also there are two songs in which Darryl DMC sings- "Kings of Rock" and Run DMC's version of "Walk This Way". Unlockable characters include DMC, Joe Perry, and, of course, Lou.

If you are a hardcore fan of Aerosmith or Guitar hero, then pick this game up. If not, at least PLAY it. It's great, trust me.
