Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
When I heard Activision was doing a game with only songs of Aerosmith, I was like cool because they are a great rock band. I've waited and waited till the day it will release and the day it did (today lol) I've rented it. In a few words, the game is really fun and deserves to be played by any Guitar Hero fan.
First of all, the graphics and sounds are the same has Guitar Hero 3, really good and impressive. You'll maybe think that like the Rock the 80's which was an expansion of Guitar Hero 2 and when almost exactly like it (characters, stages and etc.), but Aerosmith isn't quite. It's all new stages, new cut scenes (intro), the same characters but with different styles and outfits, there is A LOT and when I say A LOT its because there is A LOT of guitars. A bunch of them are new and the others in the third. A new atmosphere and an online mode which is the same in the third. So it is like an expansion but with a new
content.
The game is really good and this is because Activision putted at the place of the cut scenes between each track lists, interviews with Aerosmith which tells us about they're road o glory. So in the game, it's like if we were really Aerosmith which is a very good idea. An other interesting things in the game is that every first two songs of the list aren't Aerosmith songs so it's like if the songs we play are the first part of a real rock concert. There is still the encores that are still fun to play. The track list that aren't and are Aerosmith songs are all really good, except for maybe a few but there is not much. The is a battle in the game that is pretty cool and also an interesting adding in the game. The only thing I didn't appreciate is that there isn't a lot of songs in the game. The career mode has only 31 songs which is not a lot. You can easily finish the game in one afternoon (like I did) but you'll still have fun with it for a long time if you take the time to look and play everything. Also, there is the fact that there isn't a lot of songs too at the shop which isn't great too, but you can still play and replay your favorites songs of Aerosmith like Dream On, Mama Kin, Livin' on The Edge, Rag Doll and Living In a Elevator.
So in a few words, the game is really good and like I said in the beginning of my review, every Guitar Hero fan should try it. This game comes with the guitar controller if you want it. Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is a renting or a buy. You'll know by yourself by trying it. For me its a renting and maybe a renting if one day I have the money for it and I want to have a second guitar controller for playing with my friends on my PS3.
Thanks for reading this review and hope you've enjoyed it.
