Not the best song selection, and it could be a little more difficult, but Guitar Hero 5 is a great game.
The song selection could of been better, but there are songs that everyone should know, as in "Hungry Life the Wolf" and "Hurts So Good." I still think that could of used more songs in the metal genre, it seems like they're moving more towards alternative and less hard rock music.
The difficulty of the songs were also a tad bit of a problem. The difficulty level falls short to Guitar Hero III and World Tour. I didn't start getting 4 stars until the last 3/4 of the career, which is saying something with me. I do play on expert, and I'm alright, but I was getting 5 stars on every song until I had about 4 songs left in the career. But, it doesn't really alter the whole "Guitar Hero" experience.
Guitar Hero 5 is a great addition to the series and has many features the whole family can enjoy while still adding that challenge that hardcore Guitar Hero games can come to love.
