For those Guilty Gear fans who don't have a PS2

User Rating: 8 | Guilty Gear Judgment PSP
Two games for the price of one, what an excellent deal. Guilty Gear Judgement comes packed in with an excellent port of Guilty Gear X2 and a side scroller game like that found in Isuka. Except this time around the side scroller plays much better than the one in Isuka and offers so other incentives. It takes a little getting used to because the control scheme is different than that of X2 and pulling off Tension moves is both easier and harder at the same time. The 2 player co-op option for this mode is an excellent way to play with friends. It provided some exciting moments when my friends and I would see who could pull of the larger combos. The graphics are unchanged from any other iterations of the game and the enemy types are recycled. The boss battles are incredible challenging even on the easiest difficulty and all require a person to be quick on the jump button. As mentioned before the control scheme is different from that of Guilty Gear X2 and takes some getting used to. Overall I felt it is an excellent addition to the Guilty Gear library and any fan of the series will want to pick it up. It has a few problems but nothing too major. Even if you don't want to play side scroller part the Guilty Gear X2 is almost a perfect port and that's more than enough fun to keep someone occupied for hours.
