After all,It is still Guilty Gear.

User Rating: 7.5 | Guilty Gear Isuka PS2
Guilty Gear Isuka is all about fighting. Ever since the Guilty Gear series came to the Playstation in 1998, gamers found a new push to their consoles. The fantastic anime style design of the game and the amazing music easily provs that the Guilty Gear series has live to everyones expectation. But Isuka has not really done that. Guilty Gear Isuka may bring lighting fast controls and pure hardcore fighting but thats probably the reason why it is being criticize by many.

Isuka is a type of a bird in Japan. Probably something look like a crossbill in America. Guilty Gear X2 was a real success last time around but Isuka has not really done that. The game may offer intence gameplay but the downside probably are the controls. Some of the controls have change alot since X2. Some characters lost some of their moves and the Instant Kill is not present anymore. Another thing is that there a feature called turning. You have to press the R1 button to turn around when your opponet gets behind you, making it irritating to some who are use to automatic turn around. Yet despite this feature, the gameplay is really fast and furious. The execellent addition to the Guilty Gear Saga is the inclusion of the four person melee, meaning you will be able to fight up to 4 players at the same time.

The graphics is still one of the biggest advantage. The anime style graphic design is just amazing. Street Fighter and KOF games may also have this kinds of graphics but the ones on Guilty Gear games are different. It gives life to the game which many believes thats what the series is famous for. The good thing i like about Isuka is the music. The developers always gets the thumbs up on the music. The audio really represent the real meaning what Guilty Gear is all about. And needless to say the heat pumping sountracks really gives the excitement as you play the game. Forget about the horrible controls, the music is good enough to play the game.

Isuka features more various modes of gameplay so there are lots of time to spare on the game. In the end most people will think Isuka is not even worth getting but for me its a game perfect to play with your friends. It is a great addition to your fighting games collection.
