@Mariner32 you forget that the archdemon in dragonage is already wounded by the Grey Warden from Orlais, AND you are a grey warden yourself, wich is the ultimate weapon against darkspawn/archdemons :D

Sadly, this will likely not see a midnight release near me. But that just means I'll be there day one to pick it up. Also, glad to see that dragons are still being revered. It should take 5 full nations to take down a dragon, not a small group of people, imo (*coughdragonage*).

Storyline sounds alot like Dragon Age: Origins.... but better!

I like the look of these classes, sure some have the typical fantasy archtypes but the entire fantasy world looks refreshing. Im tired of the same old cartoony wow look i've been looking at now for about 6 years

@keith21uk That may be true; but GW2 is planned to be more fun and engaging, it'd at least be worth looking at (p)reviews etc of the changes they've made compared to the original. Plus there's always the perk that it's not subscription based - if its good but not great, you'll have spent enough time playing it to justify the original cost; if it IS great, then you'll get even more out of it free of charge.

I think the game to wait for is Diablo III. Shame there still no date on it :( I started playing Guild Wars again this week but just find it lacking fun compared to warcraft etc. Well lets see what the gameplay is like closer to the date on this one.

Apart from the rather typical story portrayed in the trailer (albeit, it is still early for much to be flushed out and revealed) everything looks and sounds good. I spent a lot of time playing the first Guild Wars and all the expansions. The community overall was great, exploration, PvP, achievements, and the higher end dungeons were all really fun. Not to mention even the original Guild Wars was beautiful, along with the unique and fitting music produced by Jeremy Soule. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

race is going to play a huge role in this game! thankfully. . . I just hope they keep the static gameplay that the original so kindly handed out

I'm stoked. Sorta kinda sad that they got rid of second classes. Made role playing portion of the game kinda fun. But I guess the 5 races will probably do the same thing.

love the look, but found it a little humerous that some of the characters (npc enemies i assume) and scenery looked Aion-esque.

Very nice pieces of artwork. Very nicely done, may be too much eye candy effects sometimes but the overall is great !

Looks okay... i hate Asian video game style graphics tho. Was a good trailer until u saw that gay cuddly creature with the lightning crap around him from Ratchet and Clank. Also the humanoid polar bear wearing armor... i was like "wtf bqq sauce sandwhich pizza??!". Cool concept but they over do it with all that retarded Asian crap... the boat bridge... completely retarded... and that Blocky robot thingy was pretty dumb as well... the demon and dragon were pretty sweet tho

I never liked the first Guild wars. After i got to level 3 I was bored already. But I also Don't like WOW ether. But this looks pretty good. Just hope the gameplay is better and has funner quests.

It will be really hard to compete with WoW since it'll be released around the same time as Cataclysm will be... and since WoW has a lot more influence on people it'll prolly will keep lots more people then Guild Wars.

i want to see this game perfect cause it looks like it :) so i want ncsoft to take all time needed to make it perfect cause that will be the best free mmorpg game ever and will beat up the wow if they made it great :)) im dyeing to play it

WoW's got competition...

the first and last mmo i played was wow, quiting after 10 months of playing. i got sick of raiding, and it was getting ahead of my social life. also alot of the people in the game despised casuals, elitists. i hope this game is good for casual players.

I really hope this is an open world, but either way it looks amazing from the trailer.

The thing about this game is that it's free to play, if it's good, which i think it will be, we have ourselves a winner. The boring stuff about the first one was kinda like this: "I think I'm going to go over here, oh nope invisible wall over there, gonna try jump up here, oops where's the jump button? Right, there are none. Damn, pathing blocker again. Anyway, great, no, wonderfull trailer, these guys really know what they're doing. WoW is killing itself, this will just nudge it over the edge of the cliff.

I agree with charlesworth89, I'm gonna get the new star wars coming out instead. I dont mind paying online fees for good games. :)

Im still stoked for the old republic over this. I played and loved guild wars, but im ready for something a bit different.
