The strafing look retarded when they strafe to the left whit all the backwards running, other then that i'm sold. I guess WoW's going up the attic.

Thing i love about free to play MMO games is that you can spend as much time on them as you like, and you can stop and continue anytime you like without having to purchase a card or feel like you wasted your money for not playing as much as you should of.

Man i can not wait for this game to come out, i love Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 seems to have much more going for it. And the creators seem very keen to make it very good, can't wait!

Free to play? hope so, thats why i dont play wow anymore, no creditcard and no gamecard suport in my country.

I have for the last year been facedesking everytime a game came out that was just like every other MMO out there in this genre. Now here we have a fantasy MMORPG that is not only new and innovative it also has NO monthly fees. Please tell me why I should continue to pay monthly for WoW ever again? Gorgeous artwork, amazing music, truly exciting gameplay, better story telling, and more...oh yes WoW your had your time in the sun, but its all but over now!

I am really glad they're going for the "it's done when it's done approach". At least this means we'll get a completely polished product.

i have been a WoW fanboy since it came out, but ive watched all the guild wars 2 videos...and i honestly think this game is going to make me quit. looks like the best game ever created right now...dont screw this one up.

1500 hours on Guild Wars, I'll probably spend twice as much on this one.

Please fire this interviewer, not only is he calling RANGERS, Hunters like this is WoW. He also makes a final note at the end of the interview showing him how much of a WoW fanboy he is. Gamespot has a epic time hiring idiots and losing the good ones like Jeff Gerstmann.

As good as this game is turning out to be, I probably would pay monthly for this game; but am appreciative that I don't have to ;)

I don't know but the power of Free to play is a powerful thing coupled with this good looking of a mmo. I'm really liking the look and feel of this game.

@ bramterris I doubt this will be a WoW killer. I think it will be way way better, but WoW just has too many people and won't ever be overthrown.

this is going to be the wow killer, no doubt about it. most mmo creators are just about the money, but this company is all about the fans, so for sure this is only mmo that has a chance to be the wow killer.

Lot of Arena.Net workers are from Blizzard....hmmm Blizz concept+ Arena.Net concept= Awesome MMORPG perhaps the "WoW killer" people so often say to newly released MMOGs

Amazing. The stupid grinding and lame dungeons of WoW will be gone. I cannot believe people actually play WoW. The combat is amazingly boring. This game will be like a shooter/mmo cross.

Holy crap. I can't believe that it's free to play. I honestly don't see any reason to play anything else now. PS: The dragon boss battle looks absolutely epic.

The Warhammer mmo, despite being a horrible WoW clone, did manage to do one thing that I thought was awesome and that was the public quests. The problem was that there were so few people on any of the servers that it was all but impossible to complete them. So that brings me to this game and I think its great that they added events that scale to the number of people playing them. That and everything else about this game is going to make it very hard to wait for.

It just so stupid.... I never played MMO's because the combat is soo boring.. Why did it have to take so fricking long for someone to realise that...

After so many years and so many WoW clones we finally have a game that's trying to break the mold and revolutionize the genre...

Looks alone, this game could very well be the best MMO out there.
