This game was better than some of the rpg's made in today's technology.
You're a knight, and you are sent on a small errand by the mayor to go bring a letter to a neighboring town. On the way back you run into some little pink thing that follows you. Then the mayor tells you to go dump it in a cave, and you do, then you go back for it blah blah blah. Then you come across the pink thing sleeping in a nest, and end up having to beat the crap outta some bird. Once you do, you grab a gemwhich plays a big part in the story) and start your quest. I liked how Guardian's Crusade would tie you up in many different things. ex. you're on a boat, which runs into a storm, and you fall off and wake up on an island. Then you have to go liberate the pink thing and you're on your merry way. This piece of the story could have been left out, along with much more, but the game has it anyway. These unpredictable events are what made the game, in my eyes, way better than many of todays rpgs. Overall, those who are looking for a great rpg, and dont mind the graphics, should look into Guardian's Crusade and give it a shot.
