Simply the best computer game I have played in the 35 years I've been playing them

The storytelling, atmosphere and humour all make this game stand out as the best piece of interactive storytelling I have ever come across, easily surpassing anything in the Myst series.

Even now, 15 years later, I find myself occasionally googling it, so you can imagine my pleasure at seeing it being remastered and re-released in 2015.

Some of the puzzles are medium difficulty (I am a lazy gamer, so I don't tend to spend a lot of time trying to overcome obstacles. It never feels like the puzzles are just thrown in to make the game longer. Every one of them adds to the feel of the piece.

How Tim Schafer and his team have interwoven film noir, art deco, and Mexican folklore into one coherent whole is nothing short of amazing. 10 minutes in you will find it the most natural combination in the world - a true testament to the mastery of their craft everyone has demonstrated, from artwork to music and interaction design.
