Almost....but lost that amazing GRID (1) excellence!

What can I say....I am a GRID fan...in fact it still ranks in my top 5 racing games of all times...because of that fact I knew this game...as a 2nd creation had a big challenge ahead of it. In its own right...it is a good game: great graphics, good selection of cars, runs smooth, and driving physics are excellent. Codemaster's knows how a a car moves...to this, this game is enjoyable...but has become very repeitious and now a little boring after less than 10 hours of play. (I gave it a 7.0 for these reasons)
Compared to GRID 1, this is an unfare fight...it would be like me stepping into a ring with Mike Tyson...yes he has a few years on him, but he was a champion and knows how to hit. This is how I see this comparison...GRID 1 released June 3rd 2008, (in America) still knows how to be a hit...and sadly this a match GRID 2 can't win. There is still something very special about GRID 1 that GRID 2 does not have. A nice try....but that belt and title still belong to GRID 1. Do yourself a favor, find a copy of GRID 1 and feel the love...one the greatest racing games ever created...and so addictive it will remain on your computer for weeks on end.
