A Suprisingly good game, but unfortunately, not a great one. A rental at best.

C'mon, it's a paintball game. It shouldn't be any good, right? Of all of the good shooters out there, it has to be a crappy paintball game that has no "intense" action whatsoever, right? Well, not really. As bad as this game may look, it's a suprisingly good shooter that captures the essence of the sport very well. The gameplay is the kind of pick-up-and-play sort of thing. You capture a flag, bring it to their base and score, or you just take everyone out on the field. It can get really tough at times, especially when the controls are kinda stiff in some spots. But otherwise, the smart AI makes for a challenging game. The graphics really aren't all that. There isn't any sense of realism in the game, which will probably make you think twice about playing this. The sound is okay, though there are some moments when the voices can get on your nerves after awhile. And the sound of your gun firing doesn't sound as loud as it should be. Overall, I would recommend this game as a rental only. But if you love paintball, or just love a little competition, then by all means, go ahead and get it.
