average apart from the occasional epic moment
Greg hastings paintball tournament max'd is a fun,tactical and well layed out shooter with good controls and good cpu However there are let downs in this game.the things that hold this game back are the infamous dodgy collision detection and occasional seizures by your team of CPU's.I am going to do what other reviewers have not done as much and explain the glithches which are the main downfall of the game.firstly bad collision detection,When you go towards an object to take cover behind it you often vibrate and jump or get blasted back a few steps but i have discovered this is easily avoided by crouching a bit further back from the cover so your not quite touching it but your still hidden.The other main glitche is your team members occasionally going spasm and freezing in the open where they are shot and eliminated.
The wierd thing is i quite like it when your team mates are eliminated because it makes the match more fun,now to explain,on easy difficulty which is what i recommend you start on. if you hide at the back of the scenary or you advance slowly and tactically then your team mates simply run in and win the match in 15 seconds before you can put tactics into play however if your on a harder difficulty or the CPU freezes then they get killed and you can get tactical which is alot more fun. earlier on i refered to occasional epic moments which i now reveal is when you are the last one left and you sprint in,dive down on the floor and crawl behind cover,peak out and snipe to 2 enemies and finnally sneak up behind the last enemy and shoot him from close range which is a great way to end a succesful match.The only other annoying element is the very repetitive music but a good gamer should be able to see past that and concentrate on the game itself.
