Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters Video Review

They really need to make a standalone Green Lantern game that isn't a movie tie-in. I can see something like that would have really great potentional.

Star wars the only good games off of movies not lately though we need Battlefront 3 and Republic Commando 2 and how about some more Jedi outcasts lucasarts needs to get on the ball

I hate this why don't they actually try to make it a good rather than just a promotional thing to get ppl to the movie so much wasted potential in nearly all the games off of movies.

This game looks pretty awesome for a rental. Don't think I would spend 60 bucks to buy it, but when it drops in price I might, last good beat-em-up I played was Ultimate Alliance 2.

Dunno what everyones problem is with this movie, I saw it last week and thought it was great. Still cant decide whether or not to get the game though...

Too bad this games storyline wasnt in the movie.

Wow a movie based game that got a score higher than 4.0? Its kind a success. But still not good enough.

Much like the film by all accounts. Maybe in this respect, it's actually a tie-in. :P

It could be worse, it could have been as bad as Thor.

Doesn't look or sound too bad surprisingly.

It sounds like the developers were trying to make a good game but they just weren't given enough time or resources to implement any unique ideas. With most movie tie ins, the developers don't even try.

I always thought tom always has this sort of dreary tone, though it is a little duller here.

Maybe it's just me but listening to Tom as he gave the review seemed like he had no interest what-so-ever in The Green Lantern video game. There was no excitement in his voice. It's like he lost a bet with his co-workers and as a result had to do the review. He mentioned some good points about the game but the tone of his voice was saying something else.

well this was obvious, movie tie ins are typically going to be bad games, however this is better than Duke Nukem...haha!

familiar engine but hmm but no interest

The movie was alot better than reviewers gave it credit for and it appears the same is true of this game (from what I've heard from friends who've played it)

They put some work in this, but in general movie tie-in games really sucks.Don't get me wrong , I don't know about this one, never will cause I own a PC.

seems like a surprisingly good movie tie-in but not a great game on it's own.

I was so hopeful for green lantern both the movie and games. Sigh. Maybe next time
