    A pitty Shodan didn't make it further, such a scary character. I loved System Shock 1 and 2.

    unfairly lost.
    I cannot believe a gears of war character is up there right now instead. All well, us folk who actually played SS2 are a rare breed when put in comparison with spoonfed luke warm console garbage like GoW and CoD

    It sucks that so many great villains lose to crap like General RAAM.
    At least SHODAN had a worthy opponet

    Sucks that Shodan lost to Glados.
    Shodan was pure evil. Glados was just a comedic villain. Though I doubt many people even played the system shock games

    At least it was a reasonable vote this time, instead of some outrageous ones like Sephiroth losing to RAAM or Vergil losing to Ganondorf (the last one might be because of favouritism on my part =P).

    I also had Shodan for the win.
    It was one of the most deceptive villains I encountered in all my years of gaming.

    dam i was expecting shdan to win not just because she is one of the most epic vilans in the heart every PC gamer that experianced the 90s (along with sephiroth, kane and the T-virus) but because older games have far beter 'story telling' (i.e. good single player campains) but then again thee have been some epic gems by the modding comunity lately shuch as MINERVA for hl2 or the up coming 2027 mod for the deus ex.

    Poor Shodan, Being paired against a recent villain. That ticks me off the most, how unfair that was. At least pair her against someone from the same timespan and popularity. Not against a popular villain. That was a dumb and biased move on GS's part.

    Sadness, GladDOS right off the bat? That sucks because I'd pick SHODAN and GladDOS both in the final four otherwise :/

    Agreed. Pure and simple. SHODAN is the best villain on that board (in terms of raw terrifying power), and System Shock 3 WILL happen. If it doesn't, I'm starting my own game company, acquiring the rights, hiring the original team, and going at it.
