A nostalgic look at the series past

This is an attempt to bring back the over the top 2D gameplay from the first two GTA's. Yes there were two games before GTA 3. Pros: This game plays just like the originals only the controls are a lot better. I cant believe that they actually pulled GTA off with only four buttons. THe walking/running is a lot better this time around as well. I think that this game has a lot of things going for it. Cons: The story in this game is not that great. I mean, it is pretty typical for a GTA game. SOmething goes wrong and you go on a trail of revenge to find out who cause everything to go so terribly wrong. I also wished that there would have been actual voices in this game like in the Max Payne GBA version. I expected that becuase both games were made by Rockstar. Final Thought: I think the main problem with this gmae is that the ideas are there, but it just doesn't deliver like the console versions do. This game is great in gameplay, but lacks in presentation and story. This game is a great port though to the GBA.
