AHH, this game reminds me of why I love gaming so much, and is definately what ive been looking for in a game for over 10 years now. Simplistic combat, depth, no guns, and just plain fun. Many games today sacrifice feel and immersion for technical prowless and repetative mindless activity, Shoot the guards, steal the card key....etc. But this game is different.....well maybe not so much different than any RPG youve ever played but I guarentee you that this game will remind you of RPGs youve played and loved from the past, yet it has its on unique feel to it to keep it interesting and satisfying up untill the very end. The Cel-shaded graphics engine is nothing short of beautiful as you pass through forests of individual trees and mountains of grass and rocks, it all gives the notion that the square-enix developers really took the extra step to make the game look and feel like something special. At that it is, the game oozes with personality and style and is never short on aesthetic pleasure, neither in the audio nor visual standpoints. The only gripe I have is the game never takes any real chances with the storyline and is somewhat predictable except for a few twists here and there, but dont let that stop you from buying what is more than likely RPG of the year.
