I grabbed this game as soon as it came out, loving how the previous game played. I was not disappointed. This game was absolutely fantastic and the story had me completely hooked. While I realise I didn't enjoy San Andreas for its nonsense, I found that same nonsense here endearing. This is one of two games I've actually re-played a great deal of; this is the only one I've completed twice!
The story follows the protagonist, Tommy Vercitti as he makes his way up the ranks and knocks off those in his path to ultimately owning all of Vice City. The music was completely perfect. I loved most of the channels, though I have a tendency to avoid the talk ones for too long. The environments were really cool and I loved the cars and the choices with them as well. This was one GTA game where I got the closest to finding the 100 'items' you need to find. I think, at the end, I was still missing one, which makes me wish for a checklist or something.
The game play follows that of the previous GTA games, allowing the same types of weapons and actions. I loved the ability to get more weapons early on by collecting more of the 100 items, I think they were weird monkeys in this one, but I can't be sure.
I can't think of anything that really turned me off from this game, it was just wonderful. Not visually stunning, by any means, but it had a variety of things to do and try and the right amount of violence in it. One thing I will say is, I spent hours driving that ice cream truck around for no reason but to make more money. A very addictive game and one that I'm glad I got, glad I completed it and glad I was able to do it twice!

Another great Gta game, this game was really fun, and time consuming, not as good as Gta San Andreas, but still good.

The amount of hours I spent playing this game was ridiculous. There is so much fun to be had here.

A bit more random than anything. A fire is spreading throughout the city and there is no fire department to help. The mayor's decision to solve the quickly spreading fire turns out to be a deadly one. look out for spelling errorsPosted May 20, 2009
