    Go "re-listen" Chatterbox.

Overall, I think I'd agree with you, particularly on the radio stations. Chatterbox is great, but I think VCPR stands up very well to it and I think the commercials are funnier on Vice City.

Vice City was perfect. After GTA III they were more aware with what they could get away with doing or saying, not that GTA III wasn't vulgar, it just wasn't as creative, and a touch more dark. Vice City is full of bright and dark humor, and now that the protagonist talks (and is voiced by Ray Liotta) it provides moments during cutscenes and during your rampages for humorous things to be said. I thought SA was way too ridiculous with some of their jokes. It was really campy and it felt like they were trying too hard, (think of all the 69 references). Don't get me wrong though, love all the games and I do find them all quite funny.

    VC > III > SA

"This is the last dance for Lance Vance!" and "You gettin' this down you four-eyed p-rick?" were easily the best lines in the game.

I love the humor in SA (Remember, once you are inside I cannot help you. Can you help me now? Um... no.), but it tried to do too many things with the game itself. It was just a pain in the ass trying to do character stats RPG style with GTA gameplay, making for one disjointed game. It was a great game, but it had some of the most frustrating missions because of how large the map was. Don't get me wrong, the map size was awesome, but when you have a mission where you on a huge hill, have to drive down a curved pass and go all the way to the opposite side of the map, fail the mission, and have to travel all of the way back to the starting point to restart the mission, it gets way too repetitive and annoying.

Anyway, I love the jokes in Vice City more because they weren't overkill.

I would love to see the world the way you do, but I cannot get my head that far up my ass.

SA was a fun game, but I really couldn't get into the whole "gangsta" thing. Didn't find the protagonist likeable at all...and his "homies" even less so.

Tommy Vercetti is the best character in the series. he may be a psychopath, but you can't help but like him. He's an outsider mocking the excesses and insanity of a debauched city and exploiting it to his advantage. His little asides are what gives the game that extra something.

Best music of all the GTA games, best humour, best chat radio (VCPR) next to Chatterbox from GTAIII, I keep returning to this game again and again.

The in game commercials alone are more humorous alone than anything I've seen or heard in gaming.
