Same city, same setting, same cars, for more money.

GTA Vice City is my favorite of all the games throughout the city. THe music was great, the setting was great, the cars were great, and the voice acting was amazing(Michael Madsen Rulz!) lIBERTY cITY stories was ok, but the control scheme marred the pros a bit. Now we have the sequel, but is that such a good thing?

Story- Barely there. You play Vic Vance, Lance Vance's older brother mentioned in the original Vice City. Don't expect anything new in terms of story. Once again,. you are just a good guy forced to take over Vice City and create an empire(that's it?!) Anyway, the characters are forgettable. For instance, Phil tries to be kind of a redneck/hillbilly, but ends up just making hit and miss jokes. Martinez is just boring, as all he does is create racial stereotypes for Latin-Americans. Lance Vance is mildly funny, but he was just a supporting character in the original, and still is in my opinion.Score- 2/10

Gameplay- Usual. If you've played GTA III, you've saved yourself 20$. There is a fighting mechanism with neckbreaking that sounds fake and punches that do almost no damage. It also makes it harder to just stomp an enemy to death quickly. (Im playing on PSP) The controls are a bit mushy, as your thumb eventually gets tired after a while. (2nd analog stick plzzzzzz!) Score-5/10

Sound- Pretty Good. I noticed some cool 80s hits such as kajagoogoo(Too shy) which had no lyrics(bug?) Rock you Like A Hurricane(Scorpions) and Heart of Glass(BLONDIE YEAH) Most of the others were simply meh. The original was much better with Flock of Seagulls, Gary Numan, and other TOP hits. Ah well. Score-6/10

Graphics- Awful. Very noticeable pop-up, jaggys and all around flat textures. At least on PSP, there are no great CGIs or cutscenes.

Overall- It is just a way to play good ol GTA on the bus, but other than that, other than the boring empire building game- (Which are basically pimping and killing missions streamlined into one thing) there is nothing new. Don't expect much- Score-7/10
