The GTA series is known for all of the controversies about video game violence linked with real life crime and violence that occur these days. GTA isn't short on violence and crimes that occur in the game, but can it really be linked to crime itself? If a gamer is old enough to understand that if you imitate this that you are either going to prison or you will end up dead. Back to the review, GTA V is a neat edition to the series that bring all sorts of gamers to just cause mayhem in the streets that are created by Rockstar.

Story 10/10

The story is played through the point of view of three characters instead of one. The first character you handle after the tutorial is Franklin, a young African American who is looking for ways to make money and most of the time it ends up being through trouble. Micheal, a retired bank robber who was played in the tutorial who now has a family and lives a miserable rich life and is trying to find what to do with the rest of his life. Trevor, a psychotic and deranged individual who enjoys committing crimes and selling drugs, but he views his actions to be just and he views himself as a good and honest individual. Each character has their own specialties, personality, and stats which set them apart from each other. The story will take twists and turns which makes it interesting to see who you can trust and who you will probably end up killing later on.

Gameplay 9/10

GTA V will have many activities in Los Santos available through out the game. From the main story to sub events that occur with the freaks and strangers all over the city and wild. You can play tennis, golf, hang out with your friends, go to strip clubs, go on rampage missions, go drinking, do yoga, watch TV, go on drug runs, or just go off on a murderous rampage until you are thrown into the hospital just to start again. The story missions will all be something different which makes it interesting to follow. V also brings in heist missions that you can chooses what will happen, who to bring, and the outcomes will be different depending on what goes down.

Visuals and sounds 9/10

The visuals that GTA V brings to the table are simply outstanding, even though it might be on the console for now, the game looks great. The sounds and music are also well done with all of the radio station music heard in the cars to the explosions and gun sounds in the game.

Multiplayer 8/10

The multiplayer is fun and worth playing if you are into the sandbox experience that GTA IV had to offer with its multiplayer. You can create your character, own vehicles, own businesses, own homes, fight against other players, play a Mario Kart like race mode, rob stores, and much more. The only problem is the fact that it is buggy and the server lags right now.

Overall 9/10

GTA V is a really well done game and has a good chance with the title of game of the year at this time. Rockstar really knows how to make good games and interesting stories even though their games tend to have much controversy. GTA V has made a 9/10
