Can you still sell stolen cars?

I've been looking this up on google and haven't found a straight answer on this. In GTAIV you used to be able to steal cars and bring them back to that garage where you were given money for them. Is there any sales/fencing system in this game to where you can make money off stolen cars?

I haven't come across this or have I found any thing like this in the strategy guide.

Weak! How do they leave this feature out of the game?! it's been in every preceding GTA in some form or another.

You can't eat at a burger shot or cluckin bell or go to casinos either.

I'm not too concerned about eating or going into casinos but making money off of stolen cars is a basic fundamental way of making side cash in the past. Hence "GRAND THEFT AUTO".

I thought the same thing too, good point.

Although... I saw a message from Brucie (Genetically Different baby!) on Bleeter, and thought that maybe later in the game this happens...

I noticed there's a car scrap yard you can buy as one of the properties. Can anyone confirm if you can take your stolen cars there for cash?

You can....and you get a whopping $150 for each one! In case you suffer from mathsfail, as the property costs $275,000 it only requires 1,833 vehicles to be scrapped before you start making a penny out of it. So yeah...

Well at least that element IS still in the game andt hey didn't decide to scrap it completely like they did all of these other great game modes ideas from previous GTA's. Thanks.
