Would anyone prefer just one main character?

I thought that I would initially, but the more I hear about how it'll work and think about it, the more I think this could be awesome, especially if its used to help strengthen the narrative. Think about when you played as Jack's son at the end of Red Dead Redemption. While it's not the exact same thing, that was a very powerful moment. I also heard on an IGN podcast that they have a recommended way to play and the game will prompt you when they think you should switch. The example they had was where you were trying to breach into a skyscraper through a side window. One guy was flying the helicopter, another was repelling from the helicopter, and the last guy was sniping from another building. The intended way to play was to fly the helicopter up, switch to the guy who is repelling and, after he has breached the window, cover him as the sniper. This way to get to do all of the exciting parts of the game, but if you don't like doing something, you can just play from another angle. Another interesting tidbit they shared was that when you aren't playing as a character, they go on doing other things in their life. For instance, they said that one of the guys was "taking a dump" when they switched to him. They also said switching is elegant and cool. When you switch it zooms out (I think to sky level) and zooms back in on the new character seamlessly. Sorry for the wall of text, but I thought you guys might find this interesting.
