Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas takes place in the early 90's in a state based off of California and Nevada. The game is huge, and the world is rich and just waiting to be explored. I have personally played this game four times since I purchased it just last year. For years this game alluded me, I never payed any mind because I never thought I would like it. I was wrong. After playing it from beginning to end for the first time, one thought came across my mind. This game is the greatest open world game ever made. Let's play it again. I haven't felt that away about any other game except one, and that game was MGS3: Subsistence for PS2 which is a masterpiece of video game storytelling. But back to GTA. This game is rather simple, your a thug trying to make his way to the top. But as you actually play the story you realize that isn't all that it is about. Not only are there over 100 missions to occupy yourself with there is this huge game world filled with things to do. Most games ask the question "what can you do?" while GTA: San Andreas asks "What can't you do?". Bottom line is that you would be doing yourself a great injustice by not buying this game. This is the swan song for the great Playstation 2. Do yourself a favor, buy this game and play it till your fingers bleed! You will not regret it.
