Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is probably the best game in the series. Rockstar has done a good job. San Andreas brings the gangster out in you * Typically Speaking * while your trying to keep Grove Street protected. The precise accuracy of the graphics is amazing. When you zoom in on the faces of people and cars, it just gets to you that RockStar has put alot of effort into this game. From different hair styles, to the selection of cars, to clothes and buildings. The fact that it is based in 1992 is probably a minor detail in the game because you never notice it, you think your in the present. I felt like I was actually in the game half of the time. From when I had to go chase down a train and get the San Fierro people off of the top I felt like I was actually driving that dirtbike and watching out for the trains coming ahead of me. I thought it was pretty cool when you would walk into a group of people and they would come up to you and say stuff like " Why you over here, what you want " It felt like they had actually been alive inside the game. But I didn't like how you had to unlock the other areas in the game. You have to go through about 15 levels or so just to get to San Fierro. I would have expected to have all of the areas unlocked. The only way you can get over illegally is by swimming over, or highjacking a plane and flying over, but then you would get shot down. I was not expecting the Variety of Aircrafts, from the Little Jet, to the Boeing 747, to Helicopters, to Mini- Stunt Planes. There also seams to be some problems with the sound in the Xbox version of the game, from Squeaks to hearing nothing at all, the sound it pretty bad. Something that was really cool to me was the Radio Stations inside the cars, it had such unique radio station matching to the actual 90's. From RedNeck radio stations to the beginning of rap and r&b. When you get into Las Venturas the one thing that amazes me is the Casino strip and how real everything is and the area that it's in actual looks like Las Vegas. You can go inside Strip Clubs and get a lap dance, or you can go inside a Casino and gamble... it's your choice. Do you want to gamble with this game or not? I give this game a 8.7
