The god of games GTA San Andreas. Need i say more? read this none biased review.
GAMEPLAY: it's the basic GTA style of car theft, shooting, stealing, smashing, destroying, punching, axing, driving, boating and flying. But better than ever before. Controls a great and responsive, and you will be having fun in no time at all. But the best features that have been added have to be the swimming and climbing. It makes the world feel so much more free, been able to climb over walls and fences, and swim to islands and boats. But also there are loads of interiors to explore, all of which you can but things like clothes and cars but also food to heal yourself. But the best bit of it all is simply San Andreas. In past games the map has been in just one city, this time the map is an entire state! There are three main cities, Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Ventureas. But there are countless smaller downs and villages dotted around the massive map. This is great as there are now forests, wastelands, deserts, lakes, mountains, caves, fields, islands, valleys, canyons, towns, villages, ranches, farms, camp sites, military controlled areas and several cities to explore rather than just one city! Another new addition is planes, rather than just sea planes you can now access fighter jets, WWII planes, bi-planes, concords, jumbo jets, and huge passenger planes. Helicopters make there usual appearance as well.
GOOD: Awesome long and interesting story, many great characters, incredible sound track and top notch voice acting, loads of fun to be had, tons of main missions and side missions, great free open ended world, massive map, loads of weapons and vehicles to mess with, great new additions like climbing and swimming, passable graphics and generally amazing gameplay.
BAD: Can be frustrating as missions have no checkpoints. But that's it!
OVERVIEW: If you want the perfect game this IS it. Flawless and incredible come to mind. SA is definitely the best game in the GTA series and almost certainly the greatest game ever made. Its absolutely mind blowing, and a revolution in entertainment. New standards of excellence have been set buy Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. The best game ever.
