San Andreas has probably had the most work and effort applied to its name, but is it the best in the series so far?

Rockstar have definatly applied all their energy into creating a spectacular game, with a huge state and glamerous cities. Nearly 4 times bigger then Vice City with 500+ more things to do, San Andreas lives up to the GTA name. However, we have seen better from Rockstar and releasing a game like this after the massive Vice City hit, it is a wonder how so many people did not see many flaws. The characters were considerably flat compared to those of previous GTA games, with the main character CJ being a big disappointment after our funny druglord, Tommy. The story was less secure compared to what we have seen in the past, with more random missions such as "Kill-the-woman-who-is-my-cousins-cousins-distant-cousin-cause- she-stole-my-uncles-uncles-granddads-bestfriends-chair." Though it's fun to blow up her head and watch the blood spill, it didn't progress the story...even though it was a story line mission. GTA is not only known for its big gmeplay with an open city and its changing weather, but also for it's radio stations...especially talk shows. But WTCR doesn't compare to the comic genious we've had in the past from Lazlow and the wacky Head Radio adverts. The new controle sytem was something i loved. Driving and moving with the left analogue stick, and the new R1, L1 shooting system made the game play extremly comfortable and flowed easily, though i also made the whole shooting aspect 100% easier then before...press, hold. fire, repeat. Congratulations. You have single handedly killed the whole of the Triads situated in San Andreas. I also enjoyed the new looking after your character aspect. Making CJ eat was always a must for me (no wonder he ended up 100% fat) but sometimes, feeling the controler vibrate in the middle of a stealth mission would be an eye rolling event. Couldn't CJ just focus for 1 minute on the task at hand? Or was food always on his mind?? Though these faults are very few and minor and not really important to all the gta fans out there, for some, they can be extremly annoying, and drive you up the wall...but only because everything else in the game is so darn good, that you wonder "Couldn't Rockstar just look closer to sort out minor problems?"
