So I found this glitch way back when the game was fresh out on shelves. I chose to never reveal it to anyone cuz that's how I roll. Now however many years(over a decade) I will tell you guys.
My memory may be fuzzy...
Get a cop car. Activate vigilante missions. Go to second island. Find a burger shot that's near the center of the island. I believe a pizza place or clothing store shares the intersection with it. Park near door. Leave cop car and enter burger shot. A timer should appear informing you to return to car, I believe 2 and a half minutes. Chill in burger shot.
Soon the targets will die on their own. Simply return to cop car to reset timer. Rinse and repeat.
Now like I said it's been forever since I've done this so a few details:
The timer will get close to ending on higher levels, simply return to car to reset it and try again.
A few times it gets to under 30 seconds before the targets die.
I made it to the 70's before I got bored and quit.

I have read about this glitch somewhere, either on this board/FAQs, or one of the GTA websites, I don't remember. I'm pretty sure it's well know though.

I personally like Link as a Rugged Shaman Swashbuckler more than Resourceful Gadget Boy. That's why Zelda II is one of my all time favorites, ...(see quote)

FluffyKidJoe posted...Very well known glitch, pretty sure it was fixed and now only works on the original edition.
This. It was known about all over the place. That's how I usually did the vigilante missions. In fact, I think it was even on Cheat! the G4TV show whenever it was still on.

Pretty much anything that you "discovered years ago" has been found by many others...regardless of whether you mentioned it or not. Maybe if the title was a -bit- more obscure or rare... ;-)
An infinite number of monkeys banging away on typewriters is not going to lead to anything unique. Try working on problems that are considered to be undoable.
