Don't know how this game got a 10 (Well I think I got a pretty good idea). I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the most overhyped and overated game ever. Sure the graphics are nice or were nice at the time and it's polished pretty well, gameplay is smooth etc. but only the wrapping is shiny, once you get inside the game it's pretty much just a polished turd (best polished one I have ever seen, I'll give it that, but still). Basically what developers said is "hey guys, lets remove all the insane and crazy fun that made san andreas great and make this game realistic and boring" Well they succeeded at that. Again I am not over exaggerating, every single mission is drive to the opposite side of city you currently are (naturally) pick up a mission from some dude, drive to the yellow dot on the map (that is in the other side of city ofcourse), ice some guys. Occasionally you need to stop along the way to pick up guns or chase some guys, but it doesn't help much. I think there were around 10 car chases in the whole game, again not kidding. Like this wasn't bad enough the game is INCREDIBLY easy, again I am not exxaggerating, I died 8 times trough the whole game and every single one of the deaths was due to me falling of a building or accidentally blowing up the car. The shootouts are so easy its not even funny, when you are behind cover you can litterally go make a coffe come back after 20 mins and still be alive, enemys don't try to flank you, cover doesn't break, enemys don't use granades etc, like this wasn't easy enough you can blind shoot, so it's literally immposible to die in this game. The chases aren't much more difficult either, you can catch some one by going in reverse I am not kidding most of the time people aren't even using gas just rolling from inertion pretty much, you could probably catch them on foot. But hey some people loved this lame ass easy realistic boring repetitive junk, so if you're not bored after ~10 missions you're in for the time of your life.
First of all, I loved the previous GTA games and therefore, I'm no hater. But I do take issue with certain individuals who say that it runs great, gave it a perfect score, and complain about people letting the game down.... Read Full Review
